I am writing this testimonial in regards to Elaine Fischer, who provided care for my sons for a number of years. They started in her care as a preschooler and toddler through early elementary school years.
Elaine and her family became a safe space for my boys to land after having been with a provider that was abusive, physically and mentally. The boys were provided an atmosphere where they were treated like, cared for and became like family. Elaine took special care and genuine interest in what they needed to feel safe and make this transition. For my oldest that was a quick transition, for my youngest, it took more time and patience. The boys both have and had very different personalities, ways of communicating, and interest. She took all this into consideration and met them where they were at and allowed them to be uniquely themselves.
Not only were their emotional needs met, by their social, intellectual and physical needs. They went on walks, spent a lot of time playing outside, and field trips. She had a preschool program that she followed that was adjusted to the age of the child. There were activities and opportunities to learn age appropriate fine motor skills and be creative doing projects. She taught them everyday skills, set clear expectations, and utilized appropriate consequences for each situation and child's age. Every part of their day was a learning experience.
She was always open and timely in communicating. Issues were always addressed clearly and immediate, she shared observations on concern and partnered to understand behavior changes. Discussions on praise were frequent and always when the child was present, issues were discussed with the child present when appropriate.
As a parent it was amazing having her in our lives and knowing our boys were safe, cared for, challenged and nurtured. It is the testament to the daycare environment she created and her care and love for the my boys when they would ask on the weekends when they could go to daycare, they were rarely ready to leave when I picked them up and they called her and talked about “Mama ‘Laine”

I am writing this letter as a testimonial for Elaine Fischer. Elaine was our child care provider during 2008-2010. She cared for our 5 year old son and newborn daughter. As a parent, finding child care can be a scaring and daunting task. You need to find someone to essentially help you raise your children. I was overly cautious and nervous because our daughter was born premature. When meeting with Elaine our family automatically felt comfortable with her and her family in their home. Our daughter was breastfed, and Elaine fed her just as we requested. Our children were very happy and thrived in the care of Elaine.
When it came to pick up time, they never wanted to leave. I was the parent of a problem child, our daughter was a biter as she got older, the discipline at daycare was more than appropriate. Elaine would talk to her, and she would have to sit with Elaine and do activities instead of with her friends. Elaine was always so wonderful at communicating with the children. I would highly recommend Elaine to care for any child. I trust her completely! Elaine Fischer is by far the best child care provider we have come across. I truly wish we still lived closer so our granddaughter, that we are raising, could go to her home for child care. It is hard to find someone who has as much passion for what she does as Elaine.

This testimony is in regard to Elaine Fischer, who provided day care for our family for several years. Elaine was the primary day care provider for our two sons who began in her care as an infant and toddler and through school age.
Elaine and her family became an extended part of our family. Our boys were treated as if they were her own children. We felt they were in a safe environment and were exposed to learning opportunities both academic and real-world. Elaine ran a pre-school program with traditional age-appropriate activities but also exposed the children in her care to opportunities such as nature walks, field trips, etc.
Elaine communicated daily as to the demeanor of our children and any issues that may have risen during the day. We were never left guessing as to what kind of day the boys had at her daycare.
Our boys never expressed concerns when we dropped them off and often were not ready to leave when we went to pick them up. To me, that is a clear sign of the type of daycare provider Elaine was to our children.
